Samsung Dryer motor replacement
Brand: SamsungModel: DV48J7700EW/A2
The client called us and asked to diagnose his dryer. He said that the last time the dryer was making a weird noise and then stopped working. Also, the client said that he smelled burnt wires. Our tech made a diagnosis and restored what happened. Idler pulley jammed from falling in lint and the belt started to rub off a furrow. Usually it ends with a belt break, but in this case, the belt was strong and the motor began to overheat and its insulation burned. The motor windings were shorted and the motor failed. We ordered a new motor, new belt and new pulley idler and replaced it all. Despite the fact that the repair was expensive, it was still three times cheaper than the new dryer.
