The Frigidaire range is not working, and it keeps tripping the circuit breaker
Brand: FrigidaireModel: FFEF3043LSM
We received a call from a customer right before Christmas, saying that their Frigidaire range is not working and keeps tripping the circuit breaker. Our technician found that there was a short circuit inside the stove and opened the back panel for inspection. It quickly became evident that the yellow wire going from the control board to the heating element had shorted. This occurred in conjunction with the black power supply wire. This happened because there was a poor connection with the black wire, causing it to heat up and break the terminal block. This, in turn, led to the melting of the insulation on the yellow wire, resulting in a short circuit. As a result, the circuit breaker tripped. When trying to reset it, it kept tripping due to the internal short circuit.
