Samsung Fridge OF/O FF: Cooling Off Mode Explained

On applicable Samsung refrigerators, OF, O FF, or OFF OFF indicates Cooling Off (Demo) mode. This is a feature setting, not by itself a failed control board or compressor. In this mode, normal refrigerator cooling may be disabled.

Check your model before changing settings

Display conventions and the steps to exit Cooling Off mode vary by refrigerator model. Find the complete model number and follow the matching Samsung manual or support instructions. Do not use a button combination from another model.

If the display does not match the manual, the refrigerator remains warm after Cooling Off mode is disabled, or another code or symptom appears, record the exact display and contact Samsung support or qualified service. Do not diagnose a control board from OF/O FF/OFF OFF alone.
