External Checks

• If the display is blank, check the household breaker without removing its cover. Reset it once only if safe; if it trips again, leave it off and contact an electrician.
• For an operation or heating concern, confirm that the correct cook setting and time are selected, and that the unit is not in Demo or timer-only mode.
• Look for visible door damage or an obstruction on accessible surfaces. Do not force the door or test the latch.
• Never run the microwave empty. Stop using it if it sparks, smokes, smells hot, or behaves unusually.

Persistent problems require qualified service. Microwaves contain high-voltage components that can remain dangerous when unplugged. Do not remove a fuse or test internal wiring, switches, capacitors, diodes, magnetrons, inverters, or control boards.
